Our Committees
Finance Committee
Advises the Board on the adequacy and application of financial policy and procedures. Supports board members in their fiduciary responsibility as board members. The Committee oversees the budget and financial planning process of the affiliate and assures adequate financial reporting to the board.
Chair : Tony Asselin also sits on the affiliate Executive Committee and audit committee

looking for volunteer members: If you have skills in financial management, accounting, business administration or non-profit experience consider volunteering your time.
Family Selection
The Family Selection Committee chooses families best suited for a Habitat house based on need, ability to pay and willingness to partner. The committee holds orientations that are mandatory for new applicants, reviews the newly received applications as well as the mid-process applications, and makes follow-up phone calls to potential applicants in order to gain further information. When a family has passed the first few screening processes, two or three of the committee members will visit the home to look for: substandard living conditions, overcrowding, unsafe location, etc.

ReStore Advisory Committee
The Restore operates as an affiliate program to provide revenues to offset administration expenses of the Affiliate.This committee advises the Board on the the operation of our ReStore in Pulaski. Reviews the budget and performance of the Restore and advises on operational policy related to marketing and merchandising, volunteer management, donor relations, inventory management, and Restore community relations. The Chair reports to the Board of Directors

Resource Development and Fund Raising Committee
This committee guides the overall affiliate wide resource development and fund raising strategy , incorporating volunteers, money, land, materials, and services. Members help identify potential partners in
the community and attend meetings with business leaders along with affiliate staff to build supportive financial relationships. Provides advice and performs tasks related to planning and realization of successful major special events

Looking for volunteer members: Volunteers with fund raising experience and enthusiasm are needed to help this committee; If you have fund raising, special events planning, grant writing or non profit experience please consider volunteering some of your time to this committee.
Building Committee
This committee provides guidance and advice on on all house building, repair and maintenance issues. It recommends appropriate activities for construction volunteers versus professional contractors, selection of house leaders, choice of materials, and other issues. It also makes recommendations on environmental and sustainability
issues related to construction and construction management
